Behind the November 2025 Glam Bag Design

“Cozy, luxe, playful.” That’s how IPSY designer Joanne Wong describes this month’s bag, and one look makes it clear why. Inspired by the textures of holiday home décor (think soft throw blankets, furry pillows, twinkling lights), Wong wanted to capture that feeling of warmth and comfort while still keeping it chic. Enter: caramel brown faux fur, the perfect indulgent neutral backdrop.

But the real surprise? The zipper pull. “I wanted it to feel like unwrapping a holiday gift,” Wong explains. Inspired by 2025 jewelry trends, the puller features a gold setting topped with a lavender crystal for a pop of sparkle. “It ties back to the whimsical holiday palette. It’s cozy, but it’s also glam.”

Balancing cozy and luxe wasn’t without its challenges. “On its own, faux fur can lean very casual,” Wong says. “So I added the gold hardware and shiny crystal to elevate it into something you’d want to carry to a holiday party and toss in your travel tote.”

The finishing touches? A lavender zipper tape, inner lining, and woven label for just the right amount of festive contrast.
