Flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and your April IPSY Glam Bag is here to match the good-vibes-only energy. Think citrus fruits, dewy spring florals, and the jelly pastels trend that will be taking over your feeds—all wrapped up in an IPSY Glam Bag that’s basically a serotonin boost in accessory form.
We’re talking a juicy, happy orange shade (because why should Sumo oranges get all the fun?), a textured floral-quilted design, and a blue flower zipper puller that’s so cute it might just make you squeal. And because we believe in subtle flexes, our Glam Bag designer Joanne Wong added a pastel purple lining and a lemon-yellow zipper tape—a color combo straight out of your dreamiest spring Pinterest board.
Joanne Wong is the Senior Designer for Fashion and Accessories at IPSY. She has been designing fashion handbags, accessories, and beauty packaging for more than 10 years for brands like Sephora, Nordstrom, Adventures by Disney, and more.
This month’s Glam Bag design is lightweight, durable, and water-resistant—aka ready for whatever adventure you throw at it. Farmers market run? Toss it in your tote. Picnic in the park? It’s got your SPF needs and gloss game covered. Storing all your random-but-essential beauty faves (because yes, you do need all five lip tints)? Done.
Since April is all about new beginnings (and being a little kinder to the planet), we designed this bag to be extra reusable. “I chose to use a durable polyester fabric for Earth Month’s Glam Bag,” says Wong. “The quilted texture provides a plush and cozy feel while staying structured and functional.” Whether you fill it with skincare minis for travel, hair ties that somehow always disappear, or a tiny notebook for your best ideas, it’s made to last—and to remind you to treat yourself (and the Earth!) with love.
Wong went through multiple rounds of samples just to get the colors just right—because when we say we’re detail-obsessed, we mean it. “We wanted the polyester fabric and the flower quilted stitching colors to match to create the minimal look. However, it was difficult due to the different materials, but I am happy with how it turned out,” she says. And the blue flower zipper puller? Chef’s kiss. Not only does it tie into the quilted floral design, but it’s also the kind of unexpected touch that makes this bag feel extra special.
So go ahead—let your April Glam Bag be your daily dose of springtime self-care. Whether you’re refreshing your routine or just romanticizing a morning coffee run, it’s here to remind you to slow down, soak it in, and bloom into your best self.
