And don’t shampoo every single day (your color can fade quicker),” says Karshenas. If you’ve got a pretty active lifestyle and tend to shampoo more often, consider dry shampoo your BFF.

“Hair painting or copper highlights are the perfect way to incorporate different shades of copper into your hair without going with a full head of color. What’s key is that it blends in with your existing color or natural hair color for a natural look,” says Karshenas.
