You will never catch Khloé Kardashian with the same hairstyle two days in a row. No, really. A quick scroll through her social media will reveal an endless array of styles. “I never like to stick with one look for too long,” says Khloé. “I love changing it up daily depending on my mood and who I want to be for the day.”

And change it up she does. Khloé has had blonde hair. She’s had brown hair. She’s had bronde hair (yes, that’s a thing). She’s had waist-length ponytails and chin-length bobs. She’s worn it half-up, all up, all down, we could go on and on. “You name a look—I’ve tried it,” says the Good American co-founder. “That’s the beauty about glam. You get to essentially be a different character every single day, and you can experiment. There’s really no right or wrong. It’s a form of expression.”

Here to help facilitate the revolving door of hairstyles is Andrew Fitzsimons, one of Khloé’s hairstylists of several years. But when every new day calls for a new look, where does one start? “It really depends on whether a look is for filming, a photoshoot, or an event,” says Andrew. “Sometimes we're inspired by other hairstyles, sometimes we're inspired by the fashion, but it's always a collaboration and a fun process.”

Meet the Expert

Andrew Fitzsimons has been a hairstylist for more than 15 years. He’s worked with major fashion, beauty, commercial, and celebrity clients, including Hailey Bieber, Joan Smalls, Kylie Jenner, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, and of course, Khloé Kardashian.

“I’m always looking for new products and inspiration for my next glam,” says the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. "I get a ton of inspiration from my sisters,” she adds, referring to the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner crew who are equally as adventurous when it comes to their looks.

So what can we expect next for Khloé’s ever evolving hair? “To be honest, I think I've done just about every style on her,” says Andrew. “I can't think of anything that we haven't really done yet. We've done short to long, dark to light, straight to curly...we may have done it all!”

Keep reading as Khloé and Andrew spill the secrets behind some of her most iconic looks below.

Go behind the scenes of Khloé Kardashian’s 10 most iconic hairstyles:

1. Soft Waves

“Long waves is one of our go-to hairstyles,” says Andrew. “You can definitely take a style like this from day to night.” Khloé agrees: “I love when my hair is long. It’s so versatile.” To get a similar look at home, Andrew recommends using a medium-sized curling iron (look for one with at least a one-inch barrel) and gently wrapping the hair from mid-lengths to ends. Keeping the waves from your ears down will give the style a more effortless vibe.

2. Sleek and Straight

“I love long, straight hair on Khloé,” says Andrew. “She always looks so powerful and fierce in straight styles.” According to Andrew, flat-ironed hair is all about the epic shine. So after you run a flat iron over your lengths, finish the look with a shine spray. “It will reflect light and turn heads,” he says.

3. Textured Waves

“I like when her hair looks really effortless, sexy, and full of life, just like her,” says Andrew. He likes to prep hair with a voluminous blowout, then use a curling iron to create bends going in different directions (a pro trick so the waves are a bit messy and not too uniform). Don’t forget to layer on the texture spray for an undone finish.

4. Half Up

“Khloé and I have done a lot of half up styles together,” says Andrew. “It's such a great style for ‘the face snatch’ but still allows the hair to be down for the best of both worlds.” Want a face snatch IRL? Section off the top portion of your hair (“Ear to ear over the crown is a good rule of thumb,” he says.), and tie it into a ponytail. The best part? “This style has a lot of texture to hide any mistakes you may make. You don't need to worry about making the ponytail part completely bump free and smooth. If you get some texture, just embrace it, and go with it.”

5. Crimped

“This was a look for one of the first SKIMS campaigns,” says Andrew. “I was working on inspiration with the creative team and crimping came up as we were talking. Khloé and I hadn't done crimping yet, so we went with it, and I ended up really loving it. I’m so glad we took a chance.” Andrew kept her layers long to make sure the crimped hair was more ‘70s, Jerry Hall and not ‘80s crazy. When asked where he found such a throwback hot tool, he laughed: “You should see my kit, which is 3 suitcases. I have a whole crimper section.”

6. Sharp Bob

If this brunette bob is giving you major Victoria Beckham vibes, you’re not wrong. “I've been obsessed with that look since her days in the Spice Girls, so my bobs are all an homage to Posh Spice,” says Andrew. Khloé was also a big fan: “Short hair is such a vibe. I feel sassy and fun when I have shorter hair.” The key to maintaining such a blunt style, according to Andrew, is constant trims and loads of shine spray.

7. Messy Curls

“For day-to-day filming, we do a lot of wavy hairstyles,” says Andrew. “With this look we wanted to step it up a bit with messy curls versus the usual messy waves.” Just switch to a smaller barrel curling iron, and the technique stays the same. “It's super important to make sure the hair is in really great condition, so you must use heat protection spray anytime you use hot tools,” he adds.

8. Mermaid Pony

“This pony was for a press day in NY,” says Andrew. “I loved this outfit so much. It had these embellished sleeves and structured shoulders, so I knew I wanted the hair off her face. A middle part with a rippled, extra long ponytail was the vibe.” For that smooth, shiny top section, don’t be afraid to use a super strong hair spray. “I know people get fearful of these because of the old days, but they're a must for these super sleek looks, especially if you have layers or bangs that could come loose.”

9. Marilyn Vibes

“Marilyn Monroe was a direct reference for this look,” says Andrew. “She's such a huge inspiration for both Khloé and me. We wanted to do a modern take on her iconic short Hollywood wave, so I added lots of texture. It's one of my favorite looks on her ever.”

10. Flirty Pony

“I love how these ponytails can give a sleek, snatched vibe coupled with the effortless ease of the textured waves,” he says. “It's a really cool, beautiful contrast.” To get that super tight ponytail, Andrew likes to tie up the hair in two parts. First, section off the top half from ear to ear over the top of the crown. Take your time smoothing that section back until it’s completely bump-free, then secure it before bringing up the bottom half of your hair. “The hardest part is getting the hair into that snatched ponytail, so once you have that set, just add texture with a curling iron and texture spray, and you're good to go.”
