Taylor Swift may have more eras than we can count, but when it comes to beauty, the star has figured out her signature look. Whether that’s that “red-lip classic thing that you like” or a “cat eye sharp enough to kill a man,” Swift’s makeup has become a part of her performance, just as much as her custom outfits and sets.

During the U.S. run of the Eras Tour, she even went viral for her rain-proof makeup, which came courtesy of legend Pat McGrath. In fact, the iconic makeup artist even starred in Swift’s “Bejeweled” music video, so it’s safe to say the singer considers beauty a part of her craft. Ahead, see her best makeup looks from over the years, and get ready to bookmark your favorites for inspiration.

Taylor Swift’s Best Makeup Looks

1. Baby Blue Eyes

Taylor channeled her inner princess for this pretty look, which includes a pastel blue eyeshadow and her classic red lip. A subtle cat eye gives her glam a little edge, while her eyeshadow seems to bring out the orange-y tones in her lipstick. Try experimenting with a similar color combo for a red carpet-ready look.

2. Feminine Fluttery Lashes

Here, the star proves that all you need to amp up your glam is a pair of wispy lashes. This set of falsies brings volume and length to her lashes, adding a more feminine feel to her makeup. Meanwhile, a peachy blush and matching lipstick soften up her base and finish off her sweet look.

3. Bejeweled Sparkles

Swift made the whole room glitter with this makeup look. A sparkly silver eyeshadow, expertly placed at the inner corner of her eye, brightens up her glam and makes her eyes pop. It's really her silver appliqués, though, that bring this look to the next level. Recreate the makeup by finding eye-safe rhinestones or sequins and use false eyelash glue to adhere the sparkles to your face. After that, you’re ready to embrace your inner popstar.

4. A Pop of Orange

Sometimes, a punchy spin on the classics are all you need for a new look. Swift remixed her own signature red lipstick here with an orange-leaning shade, giving her makeup a brighter appearance. When wearing bolder lipstick hues like this one, make sure to contour your lips with a coordinating lip liner first. Then, after applying the lipstick, you can go in again with the lip liner to clean up the edges and add some final shaping. To duplicate the look, try the HONEST BEAUTY Lip Crayon, which you can use to both line and color in your lips.

5. Lavender Haze

To fully embrace her Lover era, Swift took inspiration from the album’s palette of soft pinks and purples. This enchanting makeup look includes a dusting of lavender eyeshadow—which brings out her blue eyes—as well as a bubblegum pink lipstick. Combine a similar color combo, like this HOURGLASS COSMETICS gloss and this SUPERBLOOM eyeshadow palette, for a fresh-faced feel.

6. Just Peachy

A peachy glow adds a lit-from-within look that’s great any time of year. Take a cue from Taylor and match a champagne eyeshadow with a coral blush and a coordinating lipstick. Of course, you’ll have to add the singer’s signature cat-eye liner to complete your look. For a precise liner, try our fave Perfect Wings Eyeliner Stamp, which features two foolproof eyeliner stamps for a perfect wing every time.

7. A Mod Moment

To bring a mod twist to her usual look, Swift extended a matte silver eyeshadow beyond her liner and applied her cat eye in a straight line rather than flicking it up. The result? A playful ‘60s glam that’s surprisingly easy to wear—and just as easy to recreate. Just make sure to finish off your own look with a glossy nude lipstick.

8. Bold Graphic Liner

Swift rarely strays from her signature liner, but when she does, she goes big. Duplicate this bold graphic liner by tightlining your eye first, then apply the liner around your eye in a cat eye shape. Take a note from Taylor and add a pair of fluttery lashes, as well as a white liner to your bottom lash line. This will help the look accentuate your eyes, rather than overwhelm them.

9. Indie Sleaze Inspo

For an edgier take on your classic eyeshadow, try swapping out your liner for a metallic shadow. Here, Swift tightlined her eyes with black liner, but used a sparkling bronze shadow to form a cat eye shape. This is a creative way to switch up your makeup without taking too much of a risk, especially if you opt for buildable colors like those in this desert-inspired eyeshadow palette, which features multiple metallic shades.

10. Teal Talk

Taylor’s glam is proof that a subtle pop of color can elevate your everyday look. A touch of teal eyeliner is a small detail that makes a big impact, especially when paired with a peachy blush and natural lip. Recreate her makeup with this turquoise gel liner for a creamy, long-lasting look that will keep all eyes on, well, your eyes.

11. Old Hollywood Glamour

Swift made this vintage-inspired look her own with a bold red lip and sparkly silver eyeshadow. What gives her glam a real retro feel, however, are the dainty false lashes placed on both her top and bottom lashline. Instead of placing a whole lash strip down there, opt for individual lashes so you can space them out. And when replicating her makeup, make sure to include a shimmering accent in the inner corners of the eyes, and of course, a perfectly red pout.

12. Glossy Red Glam

Taylor has re-invented her classic cat eye over and over, and we love this twist on the staple. Paired with a glittery shadow and a striking flick upward, this liner brings the drama and flair to her look. A glossy take on her signature red lip adds an edge too and ensures the timeless makeup feels more modern.

13. A Rosy Flush

A shimmering gold eyeshadow and mauve lipstick bring an ethereal vibe to Swift’s makeup (and match her floral dress). A dusting of pink blush on her cheeks gives her a healthy glow. For naturally flushed skin, apply TARTE’s fan-favorite Maracuja Juicy Blush on the apples of your cheeks for a spot of color that lasts all day.

14. Soft Monochrome

For a balanced look, Taylor opts for a monochrome moment. Soft pink eyeshadow, coral blush, and a matching lipstick give the singer a delicate look, while a subtler take on her cat eye brings it all together. The best part? Since you’re focusing on one color, you can use a multi-stick—like this plant-based one—for blush, lipstick, and more.

15. Va-Va-Vampy

It’s not often Swift wears a vampy lipstick, but we love this deep purple-red shade. To keep the focus on her lips, the singer adds a bit of iridescent shimmer to the inner corners of her eyes, while her skin glows with a dewy base and subtle highlight. When trying out a dark lipstick like hers, try keeping the rest of your glam simple for a similar effect.
